IND recognised sponsors in Marketing, Media & Creative

178 organisations we have classified into this sector appear on the IND public register of recognised sponsors, as held in our copy of 1 July 2026. Marketing and creative work sponsors less often than engineering, and when it does it is usually inside international companies running English-language campaigns across Europe rather than inside Dutch-market agencies.

Where these employers are

Amsterdam holds almost the entire international marketing cluster: European marketing headquarters, global agency networks, streaming and gaming companies, and adtech.

Roles that typically qualify

Performance and growth marketers, marketing analytics specialists, product designers and UX researchers, localisation and content leads for multi-market teams, and brand managers with EU-wide remits.

What recognised sponsor status does and does not mean

A recognised sponsor is an organisation the IND has admitted to its register, which allows it to apply for a highly skilled migrant permit on your behalf under the fast procedure. It is a permission the employer holds, not a promise it makes. An employer on this list may have no vacancies, may not hire outside the EU, and may still decline to sponsor a particular hire.

Salaries here are the tightest fit against the criterion of any sector on this list. Junior and mid-level creative roles rarely reach it; the market rate matters as much as the employer's sponsor status.

The salary you would need to clear in 2026

The highly skilled migrant criterion is a gross monthly salary, excluding the 8% holiday allowance, and it does not vary by sector — the same figure applies whether you join a marketing, media & creative employer or any other recognised sponsor.

IND required gross monthly salary amounts for 2026
SituationGross per month (2026)
Highly skilled migrant, under 30€4,357
Highly skilled migrant, 30 or over€5,942
Reduced criterion (orientation year / recent Dutch graduate)€3,122
EU Blue Card€5,942
EU Blue Card, reduced€4,754

Not sure which line applies to you? Run the eligibility check — it works out your age band, route and gap against the criterion.
