IND recognised sponsors in Logistics & Supply Chain

217 organisations we have classified into this sector appear on the IND public register of recognised sponsors, as held in our copy of 1 July 2026. The Netherlands is Europe's distribution hub, and the logistics sector sponsors at the specialist and management end: planning, control-tower operations, supply chain technology and customs expertise.

Where these employers are

The port of Rotterdam and Schiphol are the two anchors, with distribution corridors through Venlo, Tilburg and Nijmegen, and European supply chain headquarters clustered around Amsterdam and Breda.

Roles that typically qualify

Supply chain planners and analysts, demand and inventory managers, logistics engineers, customs and trade compliance specialists, and transport management systems consultants.

What recognised sponsor status does and does not mean

A recognised sponsor is an organisation the IND has admitted to its register, which allows it to apply for a highly skilled migrant permit on your behalf under the fast procedure. It is a permission the employer holds, not a promise it makes. An employer on this list may have no vacancies, may not hire outside the EU, and may still decline to sponsor a particular hire.

Warehouse, driving and operational roles are not highly skilled migrant roles: they fall well below the salary criterion. Sponsorship in this sector concentrates in the office, not the distribution centre.

The salary you would need to clear in 2026

The highly skilled migrant criterion is a gross monthly salary, excluding the 8% holiday allowance, and it does not vary by sector — the same figure applies whether you join a logistics & supply chain employer or any other recognised sponsor.

IND required gross monthly salary amounts for 2026
SituationGross per month (2026)
Highly skilled migrant, under 30€4,357
Highly skilled migrant, 30 or over€5,942
Reduced criterion (orientation year / recent Dutch graduate)€3,122
EU Blue Card€5,942
EU Blue Card, reduced€4,754

Not sure which line applies to you? Run the eligibility check — it works out your age band, route and gap against the criterion.
